Panniculectomy vs Tummy Tuck – which would be best for me?
Panniculectomy vs tummy Tuck
May 4, 2022
Hi. First off CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss! That is a huge accomplishment. To get the best results I would recommend a full tummy tuck. You do have upper abdominal wall fullness from the excess skin and this would not be addressed from the panniculectomy alone. However, If this does not bother you then a panniculectomy with remove the excess hanging skin at the bottom of your abdomen and will help with the rash as well. Hope this helps!
How much Juvederm would be needed to correct these nasolabial folds?
Nasolabial folds
Mar 30, 2022
1cc would absolutely improve your nasolabial folds! If your injector focuses on the “triangles” near your nose you would see a dramatic improvement. It is important to see a skilled Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon who will be able to give you the results you want!
Have I been sized correctly for a Breast Augmentation or should I get a second opinion? (photo
Second Opinion
Mar 30, 2022
If you are unsure of the surgical plan with your plastic surgeon you should absolutely seek a second opinion. Surgery is Surgery. If you are unhappy with the plan then you may not be happy with your outcome.
Saggy non-existent boobs – what are my nonsurgical options to fix this before surgery? (photos
Breast enhancement
Mar 10, 2022
Unfortunately there are not any “non-surgical”options that would be appropriate for you. However, You would be an excellent candidate for a breast augmentation (from your profile view) with silicone breast implants. This would increase the volume of your breast that you have lost from breast feeding and postpartum child birth changes. You may also be a candidate for a breast lift. You definitely would need a full evaluation in person with a plastic surgeon to determine the appropriate…
During an arm lift, do surgeons always have to remove a bundle of nerves?
Arm lift and nerves
Mar 10, 2022
An arm lift procedure (AKA brachioplasty) is a procedure to remove skin and fat from the upper arms. Sometimes this is also combined with liposuction. One of the potential risks of this procedure is injury to the superficial nerves that would lead to pain, tingling, or loss of sensation to the skin on the upper arm. Although this is common risk associated with this type of surgery, It is NOT common for a plastic surgeon to purposefully remove the nerve bundle.
hope this helps!
Which procedures would benefit me the most for facial acne scars and lines?
Facial Scarring
Mar 1, 2022
I am sorry you are feeling self conscious about your skin. There are several options that can help smooth your acne scars and fine lines. Microneedling with SkinPen has been FDA approved for acne scar treatment. I also offer Erbium laser treatments as well to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Between treatments you should be on a medical grade skin care regimen.
I lost 95 pounds and feel great, but my stomach is not flat. What do you recommend: tuck, lipo
Tummy Tuck
Mar 1, 2022
Congratulations on your weight loss! After a significant amount of weight is lost, like in your case, your abdominal skin becomes lax because of the loss of volume that used to fill the skin. In your case you would be a candidate for tummy tuck to remove the excess redundant skin. Liposuction would not address the excess sagging skin.

“abnormal”/”tuberous” breast
Jan 24, 2022
I agree with your surgeon. It does not appear that you have “tuberous breast deformity” however you do have underdevelopment of your breasts. Tuberous breast deformity is characterized by high placement of your inframammary fold (IMF), enlarged areola, herniation of breast tissue through the nipple areolar complex, and a constriction band. It does appear that you have deficient development of her breast lower pole with a very short distance between your nipple and IMF. You have several…
One implant looks bigger than the other – is there something wrong with my 6 year old implants
asymmetric breasts
Jan 24, 2022
Hi, Your breasts do look asymmetric. Capsular contracture can occur when scar tissue around your breast implant gets thick and tight. It can lead to distortion of the breast, visible abnormality, and pain. If your breasts are changing in appearance you should have your plastic surgeon evaluate them and also consider an MRI if you are concerned for a breast implant rupture.
Do I have capsular contracture and would I need a capsulectomy if I get them removed?
Implant removal
Aug 12, 2021
Forming a capsule around your breast implant is actually a normal phenomenon. Your body creates scar tissue (called a capsule) to “wall-off” any “foreign body” placed in your body. Whether it is a breast implant or a splinter. Capsular contracture occurs when the capsule becomes thick, hard, and painful with visible distortion of the breast. Capsular contracture is further explained based on a grading system. Grade 1 capsular contracture is when a thin capsule forms around the implant that…

Spock Eyebrow
Mar 5, 2019
As you know botox “freezes” the muscles of the forehead and crowfeet. There are 3 groups of muscles that are targeted with botox- the muscles between your eyebrows, the muscles of your forehead, and the muscles around the outside of the eye. The muscles located between your eyebrows and on the outside of your eyes depress the eyebrows down, the muscles located on your forehead elevate the eyebrows up. Some people have stronger forehead muscles and if they are not…
