The answer is that this depends on your insurance policy. Some policies do not cover breast reductions at all, and some do but with certain parameters. This may be based on your weight and height, the amount of breast tissue you need reduced, and sometimes they even require photos and documentation from your plastic surgeon to be authorized. I suggest calling your insurance company to find out if this surgery is covered by your policy. If not, I suggest seeing a BC plastic surgeon…
Am I a good candidate for TT only or should I also consider lipo?

Based on your pictures you are a candidate for a tummy tuck. In this procedure, excess fat and skin are removed. If you went with just liposuction, you would have extra skin which would hang over your waistband as seen in your photos. Occasionally, we add liposuction with abdominoplasty to get a better contour around the waist.

An areola reduction can technically lift the breast, but only for a small amount. To determine what other procedures you need to get you to your goal, you would need an in-person evaluation by a board-certified plastic surgeon.

Based on your pictures, the asymmetry in your breast could be caused by a number of reason. If you have a saline implant, your left breast implant may be ruptured. You may have a capsular contracture causing distortion of the left implant, but would need an evaluation to determine what exactly is going on.

Every surgeon has a different postoperative protocol. It’s best to speak to your surgeon because he/she may prescribe something different due to something specific in your case.
I usually tell patients that they can return to normal activity between 4-6 weeks. I have them keep the binder on for at least 4 weeks. No heavy lifting for 4 weeks minimum.
Usually at about 4 weeks, your body will tell you what you can and cannot tolerate.

Based on your pictures, it looks like you have some soft tissue loss as a result of your injury. I would see your plastic surgeon for a follow up and see what he/she suggests. I would recommend debridement (removal) of all non-viable tissue, this may need to be repeated until only the healthy tissues remains. Based on the amount of healthy tissue that remains, your surgeon may choose to continue with wound care until the wound closes up.

If you like the way your left breast looks and you are happy with the size, then I would suggest a breast reduction/lift for the right side only. If you want to increase the size of the left breast, then you’ll need an implant on the left and an implant with lift on the right. An in-person consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon should address all your questions and concerns

If you haven’t seen a plastic surgeon for a consult yet, you may want to start there. Some have in-house financing options, some may take Care Credit, some may not, or they may direct you to a financing institution they work with.

Everyone has a different opinion on what size would look best on them. Ultimately, your decision is the one that matters most. When you leave your consultation, you should be 100% confident in your decision. If you have further questions or concerns, your PS should sit down and discuss those with you. If you think your breast augmentation will be too big, express that to your surgeon. Your PS should be there to support you in whatever decision you make.

By looking at the pictures, it looks like you would be an excellent candidate for a tummy tuck +/- liposuction. I suggest you have a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss your options. I would also be sure that you don’t have any abdominal wall hernias, which would be addressed during you consultation.

No one person has perfectly symmetry. You have several options based on what your goals are. I do not think this will improve without surgery. Your options include lifting only one breast to create overall better symmetry. If that is your goal, then that’ll be the easiest correction and least amount of surgery. If you want overall bigger symmetric breasts, then you would need bilateral breast augmentation, and a lift on both breasts.
