What kind of breast lift would I need in order to get minimum scars?
Breast Lift Scars
Mar 2, 2020
The decision of what kind of scars you need is not based on choice, but on the anatomy being treated.  In order to get a nice looking result  you would need both horizontal and vertical skin tightening.  This would leave you with anchor type scars.  I would also reduce the areolar diameter at the same time.  Anything short of this would be a compromise in outcome shape of your breast and long term results.
Do I need a lift or just implants for modest fullness after 3 pregnancies and breastfeeding? (Photo
Lift or Implants
Mar 2, 2020
The bad news is you have lost volume and perkiness.  The good news is you don't have much ptosis and therefore don't need a lift.  Of course you need a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, but I think most plastic surgeons would agree.
Is a tummy tuck the only solution to my flabby abdomen? Is this remaining fat or loose skin? (photo
Tight Tummy
Mar 2, 2020
Your Vaser liposuction is not a skin tightening procedure.  The only way to treat all 3 layers (skin, fat, and muscle fascia) is with a tummy tuck.  It will remove excess skin, remove fat below umbilicus, and allow tightening of the abdominal wall muscular fascia.  The fascia is what gives the abdomen its contour.  It is stretched out just like the skin is with weight gain and pregnancies.  Laser liposuction only removes fat and contributes to scar formation.  The downside is that it is mor...
Will I need a lift as well as round implants for upper pole volume?
Lift with Implants
Mar 2, 2020
I don't think you would be happy without a lift in addition to augmentation.  The position of the nipples need to be elevated and the skin laxity needs to be tightened more than augmentation alone can accomplish.
Follow-up question: Would I benefit from a chin implant?
Do I Need a Chin Implant
Mar 2, 2020
Even though it is invasive, a chin implant can have a tremendous  impact on facial dimensions for the better.  And it is one of the few procedures we do that is totally reversible.  Chin implants come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes which can accentuate different aspects.  I frequently use it as a supplement with facelift and rhinoplasty.  I like to place it through a small incision under the chin.
Does donut lift include internal bra? Or is that separate and what exactly is an internal bra, just
Donut Breast Lift and "Internal Bra"
Sep 25, 2019
A donut mastopexy has gone by several names over the years, but involves tightening the tissue around the areola leaving a scar only around the areola.  Usually the areola is made smaller in diameter at the same time.  This procedure has not stood the test of time. It is usually very temporary and leaves the breast looking flat. Unless a permanent suture is used around the areola, the areola will dilate over time.  Frequently if permanent suture used it may break and leave one side with di...
Is it better to get a breast lift or implants to regain the loss volume?
Lift or Implant?
Sep 25, 2019
Thank you for your inquiry.  Your questions are among the most common women face in regards to breast enhancement.  If you like your volume or size, then logic says all you need is a lift.  The problem is most women after just a lift don't seem to fill out their bra as well as they did before surgery.  This in spite of not removing any volume except skin.  The other problem is most women want upper pole fullness in addition to a perkier breast.  That is where an implant can help.  It doesn'...
I’m 5'10, 155 lbs with 425cc right now, Mentor saline moderate profile. I'm looking to go smaller.
Going Smaller
Sep 25, 2019
Thank you for your question.  When determining size it is difficult to gauge what the patient's ultimate goals are.  I have learned over the years that to see a difference in going larger or smaller in your volume range you need to go at least 100 cc in either direction.  So if you are 425 cc now, then going down to about 325 or 330 cc should reduce you about a cup size.  If you are spilling out of the  bra you wear now and want to still wear the same bra, I would say go down about 50 cc.  R...
2 weeks post op, what can be done to assist my body in absorbing air and fluid after breast augment
Absorbing Fluid and Air after Surgery

In a nutshell, time. Tincture of time is all you need.  You shouldn't expect to see your real final results for 6 months.  Follow up with your surgeon and follow his or her advise.
39 years old seeking TT, BL, Lipo in the Dominican Republic. Am I a good candidate?
Tummy Tuck, Liposuction, and Butt Lift
Nov 28, 2018
Thank you for your inquiry.  Although these procedures are common and can be performed safe and effectively, they should not be entered into lightly.  First of all, by having multiple procedures done at the same time the risk of complications goes up exponentially.  In the United States the risk blood clot and pulmonary embolus with abdominoplasty alone is approximately 1/2000.  When you add multiple procedures into the equation as well as large amount of weight loss, that risk only goes ...
What lip fillers make lips the fullest?
Lip Fillers
Sep 25, 2017
Thank you for your question regarding lip fillers.  This is a frequent question I get.  There are numerous fillers on the market. Basically, you can have your  lips as large as you would like with each one.  The more filler you put in, the larger your lips will be.  There are several different variations of Juvederm. The differences have to do with the amount of cross-linking of the hyaluronic acid each one has.  The more cross-linking means the filler is thicker and will last longer.  ...
Can removal of hematoma increase CC chances? 3 weeks post op.
Hematoma and Capsular Contracture
Sep 25, 2017
Actually, you are probably at a lower risk for developing capsular contracture having had the hematoma removed.  A hematoma is a collection of blood.  It can be one of the contributing factors for later development of capsular contracture.  As the body tries to remove the hematoma, frequently excess scarring can occur leading to formation of a capsular contracture.  Also the presence of a hematoma can increase your risk of an infection. That is why your surgeon elected to drain it.  I hope t...
How do I find a surgeon who specializes in tuberous breast corrections? It is rare to see well done
Tuberous Breast Deformity
Sep 25, 2017
There probably is not a plastic surgeon who "specializes" in tuberous breast deformity since it is not that prevalent and is relatively easy to reconstruct.  There are a few characteristics common to that condition including a constricted lower pole, herniated breast tissue, dilated areola,  tubular or narrow breast base, elevated inframammary fold. These conditions can occur alone or in combination. Contact a real plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Su...
Nasolabial fold excision before or after face lift?
Nasolabial Fold Excision
Aug 15, 2017
It would be better to wait to have the nasolabial fold excision so that the blood supply to your facial skin is not compromised with the facelift.  The excision should be able to be done in the office under local at a later date.

Belly Button Pain
Aug 15, 2017
After 6 weeks most surgeons, including me, tell their patients they can resume exercise.  With that said, it doesn't mean you won't feel some discomfort from time to time, but you shouldn't injure anything.  It is best to go back to your surgeon, so he or she can check you with an exam.  As more time goes by and you increase your activity level, those sorts of discomforts should be less and less.
