Name: Ryan Welter, MD

Statement: Dr. Welter is an accomplished Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Surgeon with research focusing on regenerative medicine technology and particularly in its ability to improve cosmetic outcomes and prolong lifespan and healthspan simultaneously.

Dr. Welter completed his residency at Brown University and obtained his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He also earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oklahoma State University where he researched the effects of nitric oxide on electron transport complexes and he has an extensive background in metabolic processes.

Upon completion of training, Dr. Welter went into private practice in Massachusetts. He quickly developed a network of primary care and urgent care centers from the ground up and was one of the first adopters of the outpatient urgent care model.

In 2005 he specialized in hair restoration and founded the New England Center for Hair Restoration. He was one of the first adopters of cellular therapy for hair with the use of activated platelet rich plasma in 2006. And in 2011 he began the use first stromal vascular fraction treatment for hair loss using autologous derived stem cells to stimulate the follicular niche to progress to anagen (essentially getting weaker hairs to strengthen to protect them from further hair loss). This approach to hair loss continues to be researched and applied clinically today with increasing promise.

His background in biochemistry and molecular biology has placed him in a unique position as he merged his clinical practice with his interests in regenerative medicine and cosmetic surgery, allowing him to explore clinical applications for his patients that might otherwise be unavailable and leading him to found Regeneris Medical which focuses on cell based therapies, longevity, health, wellness and beauty.

Her dissertation mirrored her professional interest in anti-aging market research, and changing attitudes towards aging. Tania also has a BA/MA degree in Journalism from Saint Petersburg State University in Russia. She currently serves on the Durham University North American Development Board.
