The way that neurotoxins (botox, dysport etc.) get rid of wrinkles is by “paralyzing” that muscle and that gives your body time to produce collagen and fill in the wrinkle, without you constantly making the face that caused the wrinkle. That is why some people with really deep wrinkles still have them even when that area is “frozen”. I usually recommend doing a chemical peel or adding in a retinol regimen to speed up cell turnover and help soften the wrinkle faster….
