    I am a G cup, 5’3, 140 lbs(normally 132-134). While I know some of the problem is my weight gain I also know that my breasts have been getting larger every year. I remember being a 34C in my twenties. I am now 48. I’m not overweight to where it’s an issue (I’m 138, usually 132-134), I’m back on track with working out; I was a late bloomer and it seems I just keep blooming. I don’t fit into clothes properly. I’m uncomfortable in most dresses and tops because I’m disproportioned. I cannot wear buttoned blouses. I don’t sleep well because I cannot get comfortable. My breasts are ridiculous when I get my period, big and painful. I’ve always had back and neck problems but I’ve never said anything to my doctor except when it’s gotten too bad which I attributed to being a nurse (some of which legitimately was). I guess I’m just sick of it but I’m afraid to do anything. My breasts are very wide, like a cantaloupe (ha ha). I read some doctor reviews that they can’t really make those sort of breasts that much smaller.
    I’m sorry for such a long post. I’m hoping to hear some advice

      Definitely schedule 2-3 consults with different surgeons. Gather all of the information and take your time making any final decisions. Good planning and proper research will aide in better results.

      the thing that finally got me to just get on with it, after a consult 9 years agog, and another one 3 years ago, and then the one in December when i decided to go for it (all consults with the same surgeon! good guy, everyone around here recommends him from the breast center in SF) is that i went to visit my friend’s 90 year old mom at her house and she was sitting on the couch with a T-shirt on and her enormous breasts resting like watermelons on her lap, OMG, i relized that these big breasts i had were only going to get bigger and more of a breast-burden as i got older, so, yippee, i did it, and now i and 2 weeks post-op and love my tiny tits…(not really tiny but that is what i call the new little girls, love them!)
