A limited and angled picture does not give an accurate view of your nose. It does appear that you have a bulbous tip that can be refined, the nasal bridge may need to be addressed as well. An office exam by an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon will give you the answers.

From the very limited photos you have a nice nose, however, if you wish refinement it can be done in the right hands. A reduction of the the hump seen on a side view, refinement of the tip and addressing of the hanging columella (droopy tip) will greatly enhance your nose. It appears from the limited photos that you have a bulbous tip and a small dorsal hump and possibly a slight deviation to the right. A rhinoplasty procedure with reduction of the dorsal hump, tip refinement and projection and possibly osteotomies to narrow and straighten the nose should give you a greatly enhanced nose. Seek and experienced rhinoplasty surgeon in your area and look at several of his before and after photos.

From the limited photos it appears that you have a wide, bulbous tip which droops on smiling. The open or closed rhinoplasty technique depends on the surgeons preference and level of comfort. You will need narrowing of the bulbous tip by suturing techniques (possibly minor excision of cartilage) and addressing the muscles that pull the nasal tip down when smiling. Yes, you would be a very good candidate for a rhinoplasty and septoplasty as you most likely have a deviated septum as well as a deviated nose. You have a dorsal hump and high bridge and somewhat bulbous tip. A rhinoplasty to reduce the hump/bridge , refine the tip, straighten the nose and septum, shorten the nose along with tip elevation and rotation would greatly enhance your facial proportions. Sometimes the cast/splint loosens up and could come off. It should not be a problem at 6 days. It is best to check with your surgeon and see how he wants to address it.

Unfortunately, it is not possible and highly risky to save the implant. A synthetic implant used in nasal augmentation that is infected, should be removed and the abscess drained. You will need antibiotics as well. Several months later after healing is complete (preferably a year) autologous material (cartilage) should be used for dorsal and tip augmentation.

At this early stage, it is difficult to tell and it is probably swelling. You need to be patient and give yourself time to heal. In about 3 months you will probably know better, although it may take 6 to 12 months to reveal the contour of the bridge. Keep in touch with your surgeon periodically to reevaluate your progress.

Difficult to tell how much cartilage is left in the septum unless a surgeon examines your septum. The surgeon who performed the surgery knows best. Often times there is additional cartilage available in the septum. Other sources such as ear or rib cartilage can provide graft material depending on the specific needs for a revision. A good office examination by an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon with emphasis on revision rhinoplasty will give the answers.

From the limited photo, it appears that you will benefit from alar skin excision on the left nostril to create nostril symmetry. It can be done in the office with local anesthetic and needs usually a few small fine sutures - sometimes clear sutures can be used which are less noticeable. They are usually removed in a week.

It is difficult to tell from your photo. At two months it could be swelling, but if it continues to persist after one year, you may need some revision. It is somewhat difficult to get a crooked nose to look perfectly straight and sometimes a minor revision is needed. Check periodically with you surgeon who will advise you accordingly.

It appears from the photos that you have a wide bridge (wide nasal bones) that can be narrowed by osteotomies. This will enhance the appearance of your nose from a front view - the side view gives a pleasant profile. Additional tip and bridge refinement can be done if you so desire. The incisions seem to be healing well. The scabs will come off with time after showering. Keeping them clean and dry in my opinion is better although some mild moisturizer does help to soften the scabs and have them come off.

An ultrasound scan would tell you if you have a seroma that needs to be aspirated or drained. Check with your surgeon and he should be able to take care of it.
