To be cautious, I would recommend waiting to have fillers placed in your lips until the ulcers have healed. The real question is what is causing the ulcers. If you feel they are infectious (like herpes virus) best to wait as having the lip procedure can precipitate a flare of oral, lip or perioral ulcers. In experienced hands, this can be a great combination of treatments. While the microdermabrasion does a great job of physically removing that top layer of skin cells the subsequent dermaplanng can address the peach fuzz(vellus hair) issue that so many women hate. I'd caution against using a chemical peel after your microdermabrasion and I'd ensure the practitioner was fully aware that the primary goal of the dermaplaning was to address excess hair.
