Can I have my breast implants moved?
breast augmentation
Nov 24, 2017
The distance between your implants and the resulting cleavage is dictated to a great extent by your own anatomy. You have a wide sternum, so you will not likely have the result that you have presented in your wish photo. I do, however think that you can get improvement in your result and satisfaction with a revision. I would use a larger implant with a wider base diameter. If you would like to have more fullness in the upper pole of your breast, you can also have a higher profile implant ...

They look like they are healing normally from the picture. It is normal to feel movement and sometimes a little fluid in the early weeks post op. Make sure you continue to follow up with your surgeon
Recommendation for breast augmentation?
mastopexy with augment
Nov 24, 2017
I think you are a great candidate for augmentation surgery. If you don't like the size of your areola, then adding a peri-areolar mastopexy will have a dual role of reducing the size and will also give you some lift. If your skin is very loose and redundant, adding a circumvertical incision will help to tighten up the skin envelope around the implant. Find a great board certified plastic surgeon and best of luck!! I think you will do great!!
I’m looking to go from a B to a full C. Will 400cc be enough?
B to C
Nov 24, 2017
Hard to say with the info and the pic given here. In general, 200 cc of implant will give you one cup size, so 400cc will probably bring you up to a D and not a C. But your surgeon has measured you and has given a 500 cc volume as a suggestion? This is a large implant. Make sure that he knows that you only want a modest augmentation. I think that even with the widest base diameter, this is going to be a significant enlargement. You have some ptosis, maybe he is quoting a larger implant to ...
Just finished 5th surgery after bilateral mastectomy, infection and asymmetry issue. Still uneven
uneven after breast reconstruction
Nov 24, 2017
I'm sorry that you are having this experience. Breast reconstruction is a many varied beast!! You have not given enough information I am afraid for anyone to comment with any authority. It depends on so many factors to include what your breasts looked like before your mastectomy, what type of reconstruction you had, what was done about the complication of infection, why you had the infection, what your mastectomy surgeon did......the good news is that the breast is very forgiving!! Although ...
Are my breasts infected?
infection?
Nov 24, 2017
The incisions just look a bit inflamed and slightly ischemic. Did you have a reduction or an mastopexy with augment? If you have a prosthetic under these incisions, I would recommend antibiotics for prophylaxis as you heal, but if this was just a breast reduction, I think that it would be fair to simply monitor your healing along with your plastic surgeon. This looks like a very early post operative photo, so really it is quite normal looking (for say a week or so out of surgery). Follow cl...
Face lift/Vector lift 26 days ago. Wondering if some obvious flaws will resolve with time.
folds after facelift
Nov 24, 2017
Your surgeon had the wrong reaction...perhaps he was having a bad day, we are all human. Next time, expect a different reaction....you only get the "bad day" excuse once in a while. Having said that you need to demand from him proper monitoring and a revision if needed. In general, I agree with most of the answers here that this will flatten in time, but the underlying problem is that the redundancy in the skin was not completely smoothed because I think he was trying to limit the extent of...
12 weeks post facelift still bruised and swollen, 3 months post-op.
recovery
Nov 24, 2017
It is so tough to be patient with recovery after facelift, particularly when complicated by a hematoma. It sounds as if your surgeon has done everything right, so you should continue to have confidence in his advice which will always be better than what you get over the internet. You can expect to have some lumps and discoloration and some contour irregularities as your tissue remodels. This can persist for up to a year, but in the picture it does not look unsightly. Take heart, it will all...
Jowls apparent after a full facelift, mini lift suggested?
jowls
Nov 24, 2017
I do not think a mini lift will do anything for you and particularly now when you are this soon post op. Allow at least six months to see your final result when all of the swelling has resolved and then decide how to proceed.
I had a neck lift in January this year should my neck look the same as it was before surgery?
disappointed with facelift results
Nov 24, 2017
I am sorry that you feel disappointed, and I can see why you may have these feeling based on the pictures. You really should have an open and honest conversation with your surgeon. I would want to make you happy and in your case would likely offer a revision. One thing that roubles me is that you listed this as a neck lift. If it was ll that was done, your suboptimal results are not surprising. From the appearance of your preoperative photo, you really needed a lower face and neck lift to f...
6 Weeks Post-Op Breast Implants, Will my Left Breast Drop on Its Own?
Breast implants early post op
Nov 20, 2017
I think you have a lovely result. You can expect more changes as the inflammation subsides and the tissue settles. Give yourself 6 months or so to really tell what your final result is. I suspect it will improve, but it is already good, so I would expect an excellent result for you.
Breast Implant Not Dropped, Uneven Nipples, 1 1/2 Months After Augmentation?
Breast asymmetry after augmentation
Nov 20, 2017
It appears that you have had a nicely executed placement of implants, they both seem to be positioned correctly, but what I notice is that your left breast appears to be larger than your right. You have not provided preoperative photos, so it is difficult to say if this was pre-existing. I have to assume that you has asymmetry prior to your augmentation. This would explain the uneven position of your nipples. Asymmetry is often accentuated by placement of breast implants, so thing that you d...
6 weeks post-op; trying to be patient for my appointment. Does this look like a CC?
Capsular contracture.
Nov 20, 2017
It is possible to get an early CC, but very unlikely, particularly in both breasts. Looking at your preoperative photos, I notice that you start off with a large degree of asymmetry. In addition to that, your nipple to IM crease distance is short in both breasts, so to place the nipple over the center of the implant (where it belongs) your surgeon would have had to plan for the asymmetry and drop your creases on both sides to a varying degree. This may improve over time, but I am dou...

Breast asymmetry following augmentation surgery
Nov 20, 2017
Your right breast implant is sitting higher than your left, and therefore appears to have more upper pole fullness and asymmetry. It is true that it takes time for the implants to settle, and massage and banding sometimes helps. I would definitely recommend attempting these conservative measures, but I think there is a good chance that given your preoperative description of one crease being higher than the other, you may need to have a revision and I would make some plans because fitting re...

Cleavage and lift
Nov 20, 2017
I agree with your surgeon that your cleavage can not really be modified by implants. This area is a function of your own anatomy. You have a wider sternum, so your breasts naturally sit further apart, which in a way is more youthful, so I would put this in the positive column. I do not agree with the lift part. I think you had a moderate degree of ptosis in your breasts which would have been better off corrected. The scars will fade in time and you will have the more "perfect" looking you...
