Deciding between revision breast surgery and full removal of implants?

Thanks for your question. You can certainly have your implants removed and live with your breasts as they are. However, I sense you still desire an implant and could have a revision with placement of smaller implants. In my experience, the risk of CC with revsion augmentation is low if done in the correct plan (sub muscular) and with the correct implants (shaped silicone).

Do I have symmastia? If so will a plane change help? With a lift?

Thanks for your question. Based on your photographs it appears that you have a breast crease that connects in the midline, not necessarily symmastia. I refer to this as "tenting" when implants are present and it makes this appear more prominent to women. You could try to gently liposuction this area and the skin may tighten down.

Confused - what MMO proceedures do I need?

Thanks for your question. Based on your photos, I'm not sure how much benefit additional liposuction would add to an abdominoplasty. The question of a full or extended tt depends on how much tissue is removed in the center (the more removed, the longer the scar). Hopefully you should trust your PS and they would do the right kind of tt for you.

I routinely perform arm and thigh lifts, in approximately 3 - 4 hours. Your surgeon needs to be experienced and efficient to reduce blood loss and the risk of infection.

Thanks for your question. Options for contouring the arms would include liposuction alone or liposuction with skin removal. Since you are young and your skin is tight, you may be able to have a good result with liposuction alone but should discuss this with a BS-plastic surgeon.

I'm 7 weeks post lipo. Is it normal to feel sharp shooting pains and lots of itching?

Itching after liposuction is fairly common and (normal) after surgery. Itching is a form of light pain. Generally, this is regeneration of the nerves to the skin and will slowly improve over time. Keep well moisturized.

How can I get rid of these pockets of fluid after liposuction?

If fluid collects after liposuction and is evident (serum), I generally recommend aspirating it with a needle. If there is redness over the fluid, you may have an infection and drainage and antibioitics may be needed. Please call your surgeon to be seen.

Your question can provoke controversy amongst plastic surgeons. There is no "best" implant. I use smooth and textured (round) implants for various aspects of my practice. Rippling is related to multiple factors, including the thickness of the tissues over the implant I do want to note that the incidence of breast implant associated cancer (ALCL) is significantly higher in textured implants, although generally uncommon. Either way, you can't go wrong with your choice.

Your question can cause controversy amongst plastic surgeons. Most would generally agree that implants do not lift the breast (nipple - areola) more than 1 cm at best. Some might argue that a high projection shaped implant may raise the nipple more than a round but this is arguable. Bottom line is: choose the implant based on the shape you are looking for. IF you are looking to lift the breast, you need a breast lift.

Thanks for your question. Based on your photos, there is no doubt you would benefit from a full tummy tuck. Very few women would ever benefit from a mini tummy tuck; it is uncommon in my experience. Best of luck.

Persistent serums after surgery can be troublesome. Aspiration is generally attempted first with compression. If this fails, then surgical drainage with removal of the bursa and quilting sutures is generally done with drain placement. If this fails, you may want to consider observation. I have seen these disappear on their own over time in these situations. I have never used sclerosant and am not aware of any data that shows it helps.

Thank you for your question. There is no reason all three procedures cannot be performed at the same time unless that is your desire. Almost all tummy tucks would benefit from liposuction to begin with and it only makes sense to use that fat for augmentation of your buttocks. There is no benefit to delaying or doing them separately unless more fat is desired at a later time.

Based on your question and without seeing photos, a brazilian butt lift would accomplish your goals. By filling the buttocks, the buttocks will become rounder and also lifted.

Great question. In my opinion, some type of augmentation should always be done at the time of buttock lift. The lift portion only improves the contour of the lower back and improves the lower buttock creases. An augmentation with your own tissue or fat (my preferred option) will vastly improve your result.

When a person begins to develop a long lower eyelid, deflated cheeks, jowls and neck bands than they would benefit from a full face and neck lift. Anything less will not address the issues and will require future revision. Thank you for your question.
