Hi. You are on the right track with a consultation. Only an actual exam and insurance submission for approval will allow the correct answer to your question. Weight requirements by the insurance companies vary widely, you may qualify, ask them and find out. It is difficult to accurately guess the weight that will be removed during surgery, even for very experienced surgeons, it is nearly impossible to do so based on a couple of photos. Good Luck.

Hi. "Peeling" areolar skin could mean a large variety of issues, or no real issue at all. Be assured the vast majority of these types of things heal in due course.
A post op issues like this really requires a visit with your doctor to fully alleviate your concern.

Going with a smaller implant my help you toward your goal. It is always difficult to look at photos on a computer and know the future but implants of 250 - 300 might help you feel better. In your size range a 50cc change is usually not enough.
You could be better suited for a moderate profile implant.

Your provided history sounds like you had a capsulorrhaphy. Some patients experience protracted pain/discomfort with that procedure. It will resolve. Continue to follow up with your doctor and voice your concerns.

Hi. Sorry to hear of your difficult situation. You need to seek consultation with a local board certified plastic surgeon. There are many qualified surgeons in our area, It is unlikely that distant travel will be to your overall advantage.
In addition to costs, the possible outcomes need to be kept in mind. The most economical, most likely to be permanently successful, solution to your problem would be to have your implants removed. If that does not...

Most insurance policies in our area do cover breast reduction for symptomatic macromastia. There are some policies that have contractual exclusions. Many of those patients have breast reduction surgery on a cosmetic basis and are very glad they did! It is hard to overstate the amount of relief most patients experience.

Hi. Your concerns are not uncommon following augmentation/mastopexy. Your photos suggest your concerns are valid and it is possible that at some point a revision could be beneficial.
You should continue to follow up with your doctor, making sure to express your concerns and desires. Hopefully your doctor will respond and make time to completely explain the process and all the available options going forward.

Yes. Your photos seem to indicate that many of your concerns could be significantly improved with a revision. The areolar diameter could be reduced and the scars revised, reducing the width of the left breast as well. Most of your goals would be addressed and you likely would feel good about the improvements. However, it is important to keep in mind that perfect symmetry is not a likely result!

Hi. Your question is good. The anchor type incision pattern allows the most versatility for a large group of body types. Yes, the scar is longer, but a large variety of breast types can achieve more satisfying results more often. Think of it as the power of the longer scars. The additional transverse scar allows for control of the vertical length of the breast. In practice the longer scar is seldom an issue after the surgery.
