Hello, thanks for your question. It is true that it is possible for a patient undergoing BA to lose sensitivity on one or both sides, but it is not related to the location of the incision(peri-areolar vs. infra-mammary). Fortunately, the chances of this occurring as a permanent problem are low. I would recommend that you see a board certified plastic surgeon in order to discuss your concerns.

Hello, thanks for your question. The amount of tissue that is removed during breast reduction is variable and, obviously, affects the patients post-operative size. However, the greater the amount of tissue resected, the more likely it becomes that healing complications can occur. The change from E to B is great and may not be wise, given the facts above. Arm lift procedures will usually result in tightening of the skin, although continued weight loss could affect this. Tear drop implantsare beneficial primarily in breast reconstruction, and are not generally used in primary augmentation.Most women nowadays pick smooth, highly cohesive gel implants and get good results. Visit the board certified plastic surgeon of your choice for further guidance.

Hello Emma.L! From your pictures, I would say that you could achieve an excellent result with an implant behind the pectoral muscle through an incision either around the nipple or under the breast. If desired, nipple re positioning could be accomplished at the same time. The choice of saline or silicone would be your preference. Hello dems.95! From your pictures, I would say that you could achieve an excellent result with an implant behind the pectoral muscle through an incision under the breast. The implant itself would give you the rounding of the breast that you seek, with larger implants giving more roundness. You would also likely need a larger implant on the right side than on the left to help with symmetry. The choice of saline or silicone would be your preference. Good luck!

No, it is not true that your implant(s) need to be changed periodically. Your implants should only be changedif there is a problem(such as a leak or malposition). You should consult with your Board-certified plastic surgeon if you suspect that you have problems with your implants.
