Should I be concerned of this bruise? 375cc silicone under muscle breast implant.
Bruise
Oct 11, 2017
Is that bruise on the same side that you had the replacement implant performed for bleeding? Because if it is, that would make sense that it will last longer,  and  the firmness may be some blood still collected in the tissue. If it is in the contralateral breast, then certainly I would be concerned about the possibility of blood collecting there as well.
How many times could I have breast replacement? I had mine 4 times, possibly 5 because it has enca
More surgery?
Oct 11, 2017
I would encourage you to wait and let the breast completely settle down and hopefully soften up on its own.  You may avoid having another surgery. It’s difficult to operate on inflamed tissue anyway and often times it accentuates the inflammatory response, and in my opinion, puts you at higher risk for recurrent early capsular contracture once again .

Big
Oct 11, 2017
I think it’s possible to put that size implant in if you have adequate skin. You might have to change the profile of the implant so that the base width is not wider than the base width of your breast. Go for it if that’s what you want.
What would be best? remove implants and place right away or wait one or two months??
Smaller
Oct 11, 2017
It’s tough to give advice on your question without knowing more information. Briefly, what were the past  surgeries?. What is your current implant size? Is it a saline implant? Do you have extra skin of the breast and want the nipple position to be higher? Taking an implant out and leaving the skin contract may be beneficial depending upon the circumstance.
What’s a good OTC pain medicine post surgery?
Burning
Oct 8, 2017
Most non-narcotic pain medications fall into the category of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. There are several different brands available over the counter. Personally, I found that ibuprofen  worked best for me after shoulder surgery.  I’ve also found that I don’t see a difference between the brand names such as Advil in the generic versions. Once again, that’s just personal experience.
Given my mild case of tubular breasts, what would the outcome be of a regular breast augmentation
Tuberous
Oct 8, 2017
As you can tell from the already posted answers from plastic surgeons, yours is not an easy case. The main advice I would give you is to have a thorough conversation with the plastic surgeon of your choice to make sure you are clear in outlining what your goals are as a result of the surgery. I have learned that what we are taught as  being  the aesthetic goal may be quite different from what the patient’s idea is of the aesthetic goal.
Is high blood pressure a problem for surgery? I’m wanting tubular correction.
High blood pressure
Oct 8, 2017
Yes, it certainly can be. You want your blood pressure to be completely regulated before having elective surgery.  One main reason is that it increases the chances of hematoma or a blood collection around breast after surgery
Has my implant ruptured?
Pain
Oct 8, 2017
From what you described, this sounds like something more in the peripheral nervous system rather than in the breast itself.I have had patients with similar symptoms. A couple of them have gone on to develop full blown shingles. I do wonder if this represents some kind of perhaps mild neuropathy in the nerve supply to the breast and chest. The good news is it’s usually self-limiting.
What is this itchy red rash after breast augmentation?
Rash
Oct 8, 2017
The most common thing would be an allergic reaction but I do think you have to make sure it’s not a fungal infection because that can have some implications to the skin and the implant.  I would call your surgeon’s office to have them look at it. Certainly a dermatologist could be helpful as well
Follow-up Question: No kids, 22 Breastlift and areola reduction?

Oct 4, 2017
I think that breast lift with or without an implant would be of benefit in trying to meet your breast aesthetic goals.  I commend you for choosing those photographs because they are quite representative of an outcome that you could achieve.

What you are asking does not have an easy solution and requires complex surgery to get a good result. First I would provide more information than you’ve already submitted including the original Pre Op photos, the subsequent surgery and the photos of the bottoming out. What kind of matrix was placed and what is the current volume and shape of the implants? Things to think about are would you be willing to downsize, and would you accept a…

Breast reduction referral
Sep 25, 2017
My advice would be to call the plastic surgery office that you are choosing to go to and ask them. Their staff should be quite knowledgeable about what requirements are needed to have the consultation and even the surgery. It’s also a good test of the office to see how efficient they are.

Double mastectomy
Sep 25, 2017
It’s certainly not overkill based upon your history. You should certainly go to a breast surgeon to explore the options. Genetic counseling also seems indicated. Seeing a plastic surgeon would also be a benefit to talk about planning options for reconstruction if you are interested.
Nipple Piercings after Breast Reduction, when is it safe?

I would say it is okay to do the piercing when all of the incisions are completely healed with no scabbing or drainage.

If you were already planning to have autologous reconstruction at a later date, I don’t really see the benefit of using Alloderm or any other acellular dermal matrix product at the time of your temporary expander or implant placement.
