BL + BA? 36, 3 c-sections, weight loss: can I pull off implants now & a lift & implant swap later
Do them both now
Aug 28, 2018
The wish pics you included have several women with very nice results after lifts- some still in the process of maturing their scars which will lighten them and make them almost unnoticeable.  I have never had a woman say she regretted doing the lift- while it seems daunting at first, the reality of it is a prettier breast and more gorgeous shape- it’s a heck of a tradeoff.  Save yourself the disappointment, the extra surgery and the extra cost by doing what’s best the first time.  I hope th…

Aug 20, 2018
So you have a couple things going on that are adding to your issues.  The first is the size of your breasts and the second is the asymmetry- both of those things will get resolved with a breast reduction!  Find a surgeon that you connect with and that can deliver the beautiful results that you deserve.  You should expect nothing but an outstanding result and I’m excited for you- this surgery is life-changing!!  Hope this helps.  We aren’t far from you in Charlotte.-JGH
Do I need a breast reduction and lift? Or just a breast lift?
Small reduction
Jun 4, 2018
You have beautiful breasts and would do awesome with a superior pedicle breast reduction.  That will help maintain upper pole fullness and create a long lasting, gorgeous round breast.  Best to have pics of what you desire to show your plastic surgeon- we are visual people and that makes sure we are all on the same playing field when it comes to surgery time.  Hope this helps.-JGH

As far as lifts go…1.
Circumareolar or Benelli lifts or whatever you want to call this lift does not
work well, has no power and requires a permanent stitch to maintain the new
areolar diameter.  Otherwise, the areolar spreads out and looks
terrible.  This is rarely a good idea.  Better for tightening but not
lifting.

What kind of tummy tuck should I get?
Full tummy tuck- no doubt about it
May 7, 2018
You look great already, but a traditional tummy tuck that brings your abdominal muscles back together where they were before pregnancy will make things look amazing.  Congrats on getting your weight back to down to your goal- that will make your results even better.  Take a look at some of our before and afters- I think we do a beautiful tummy tuck that looks natural.  It doesn’t help anyone to go through surgery and everyone know because things don’t look right.  Hope this helps.-JGH

May 1, 2018
You look pretty great for 4 kids.  My best advice is to lose as much weight as you safely can PRIOR to any surgery- that will guarantee you the best result no matter who you choose.  I then think you would be a homerun if you got some liposuction to your lower back and hips and flanks along with a formal tummy tuck that plicates (brings back together with an internal corset stitch) your muscles back to where the were before your pregnancies.  You should do incredibly well. Hope this helps.-JGH

You
appear to have ptotic breasts which is just a fancy way to say that they have
fallen from where we’d like for them to be which is above your inframammary
fold.  You would benefit from a breast lift and your overall size will go
down, but by how much is yet to be determined.  Keep in mind that your
breasts will become more dense (like when you were younger- which is
desirable) by keeping the same mass (weight or amount of tissue), but
decreasing the volume that they take up (cup size).  …

You have done pretty well for 18 year old salines through the belly button
Mar 20, 2018
You’ve done pretty well, but you can get way better results.  Answers below:1. Yes- your implants do that because of hyperanimation that can result from placing implants under the muscles.  You can either reduce that by dividing the muscle some more or just place your next implants above the muscle. Salines ripple- the newer cohesive gels will do much better no matter where they are placed.  The rippling you are showing is out lateral and there isn’t any muscle there anyway, so being “u…
Would you recommend a lift? Is this goal even achievable?
Your wish pic is definitely achievable
Feb 20, 2018
First of all, you have a great figure currently.  You 100% need a lift to get youthful DD perky breasts, but in the right hands, that’s a safe operation with incredible results.  You appear to have excellent tissues which makes a plastic surgeon’s job that much easier.  You need a superior pedicle lift with an implant placed below your muscle.  You should get a homerun.  Hope this helps.-JGH

It is really hard to give advice without
examining patients with regards to abdominoplasties and the many permutations
and “versions” of them that get offered to patients.  Briefly, if you have excess skin or laxity in
your skin and fat, removal of that tissue would be of benefit.  If your muscle contour is not what it used to
be or it not optimal, a procedure to tighten your “core” may be necessary.  This is especially important in the
post-pregnancy population as during your pregnancy,…

My favorite regimen is:
1. 1″ paper tape (Micropore) over
incisions for 3 months
2. SkinMedica Scar Recovery Gel or Biocorneum for 3 months
3. Sunscreen/UV protection for life
I start taping immediately after surgery and
start the scar cream at two weeks.  The tape is porous and so you can
apply the scar cream on top of the tape and it will seep down to the incision
and work.  That way you don’t have to remove the tape with every
application of the cream which can irritate your skin and c…

I’m not convinced by pictures that you need a lift
Feb 15, 2018
9 times out of 10, whenever a patient poses this question,
this answer will undoubtedly be “you need a lift”.  However, it’s hard to give a firm answer
sometimes without examining the quality of your breast tissue or taking really
important measurements to help guide possible results and startegies.  It’s also imperative to know what the
patient’s goals are.  That’s really the
only way to give you a solid opinion.
