Get in to see a plastic surgeon for evaluation ASAP.  Many sutures we use to correct the ear deformity are permanent and can become infected even 17 years post op. The sutures may need to be removed to allow the infection to resolve.  Best wishes

Best advise I might offer is to keep your follow up appointments with your surgeon and follow their advise on your recovery. They have a clue as to why incision placement was different.  I tell my patients getting calf liposuction to expect not to see their final result for a year.  Be patient. Best wishes

I don't believe there is a discernible difference in your post op appearance whether you use drains or not.  The bigger difference is in my patients recovery.  Since I have gone "drainless", my patient's have a smoother recover and dramatically fewer seromas or post op fluid collections. You can certainly stage your breast surgeries.  Many women shrink away from anterior breast scars and prefer to see how their breasts will appear with implants alone. Avoid the notion that a larger implant will look better by filling up your breast. I am afraid it too often results in just large too full breasts.  Visit with your surgeon and the mastopexy delay may be a good option for you.  Best wishes

In our office we ask our breast implant patients to do a few things preop to help in their recovery:  push high protein diet for two weeks preop, apply bactroban ointment in their nares, navel and ear canals twice daily for three days preop, shower with hibiclens starting three days preop and use Sage towelettes to coat their skin the night before and morning of the surgery, have realistic idea of what to expect from their procedure.  Best wishes

Any recommendation depends on your current weight, age and general health.  If you are a good risk candidate, one could certainly do all you procedures at one setting.  If I were to stage your procedures, I would be inclined to do your BBL, liposuction and abdominoplasty at your first procedure followed by an augmentation mastopexy 3-6 months later.  A board certified plastic surgeon's evaluation should help guide your decision.  Best wishes.

There is no specific maximum volume implant with a periareolar augmentation mastopexy.  I have my augmentation patients try various sizers in a sizing bra during their consultation to establish the range of volume they hope to achieve.  That determines a starting point.  We determine the exact volume implant intraoperatively, visualizing your breasts in an upright posture with sizers in your breasts.  There is a volume which will make a patient look disproportionate or heavy.  Hope that help...

Your plastic surgeon has the advantage of having examined and spoken with you directly and that opinion has to be respected.  After looking at your photos, I would be more inclined to consider a full abdominoplasty.  Best get another opinion then trust you gut.  Literally!!  Best wishes
