Is a breast reduction rash common at 2 months post-op?
Rash after breast reduction
Jan 8, 2019
From the photos your provided, it looks that you have a contact dermatitis, or allergic reaction. It is possible it is due to adhesive, or an ointment you are using. It can also be the sutures absorbing within the skin. I would stop all topical treatments and see your doctor asap so they might prescribe something orally to help with symptoms.
Will I be a candidate for hair grafting to round out my hairline if I have recently bleached my hai
bleached hair and transplant
Jan 8, 2019
There will not be an issue with transplanting if your hair is bleached. However, the surgeon may dye the hair that is to be harvested to better see the shafts. This is decided case by case.
Is a breast reduction with implants possible?
breast surgery after pregnancy
Jan 7, 2019
Thank you for your question! Very often I will offer a lift with implant as part of a "mommy makeover" Often after pregnancy you are left with skin and tissue that sags and loss of volume. The lift will remove any saggy skin and tissue while lifting the nipple to a more pleasing location. The implant will often give that upper pole fullness you desire.
As for insurance, it is very dependent on the carrier. Very often you need a significant amount removed...

scarring issues after breast reduction
Jan 7, 2019
I am sorry this has happened to you. I would highly suggest returning to your surgeon to discuss this and your possible revisions. This can be fixed. It would to be something I would personally offer under local anesthesia.
1 year post revision: doctor cut blood vessel, would this cause a sharp pain under my breast? (Phot
sharp pain months after breast surgery
Jan 7, 2019
It is possible that a sensory nerve was cut during the procedure. Often this discomfort resolves, however since yours has been ongoing, you may now have a neuroma, where the cut nerve continues to have sensation and causes pain. Some simple remedies to try are "desensitation" maneuvers, including massage of the area. This needs to be done daily and regularly. Often a nerve medication can also be tried. Finally, it is possible the surgeon may need to...
Is this normal? 16 days post FUE and my donor area is very sensitive and sore. No swelling or fever
symptoms after fue
Jan 4, 2019
Congratulations on your recent surgery! It is very normal to be sensitive in the area of FUE harvest for up a few months following your procedure. Your donor area in the photo looks to be growing in well and there is not unusual findings. You may find it more comfortable to rest with your head elevated while it is still sensitive.
Any grafts left to be extracted?
Future surgery after multiple procedures
Dec 18, 2018
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on these photos alone, I would say it would be difficult to promise 1500 grafts without dramatic loss of volume in the back and risk of over harvesting.
3 days post up square shape and low nipple. 400 cc mentor gel implants. Is this normal?
Breast shape directly after augmentation
Dec 12, 2018
Congratulations on your surgery! You are very early after surgery and the size, shape, and feel of your new breasts will change dramatically over the next couple of months as the swelling goes down, the implants drop, and the tissues soften.
Your photos show a very normal appearance directly after surgery. Be sure to continue your regular follow up visits and all instructions given to you by your surgeon.
Nipples are very low/pointed down after implants. Do I need revision surgery or a breast lift? Can
nipple position after breast augmentation
Dec 12, 2018
Congratulations on your surgery! From your photos, it seems you are very early after surgery. The implants will change position dramatically over the next couple of months as they drop, soften and fill your new pocket. I would be patient for now and very likely all will end up as you had wished. Continue your regular follow ups and all instruction provided by your surgeon.
Is 400cc high profile silicone too small for me for a full rounded look?
High profile vs moderate profile
Dec 12, 2018
A high profile will give you a bit more upper pole fullness for sure vs the moderate profile when comparing similar volumes.
Spraying of Saline Water on Recipient Hair Transplanted Area. Could there be some blood clots?
saline spray after transplant
Dec 12, 2018
Congratulations on your transplant! I would not be too concerned about a small spot of blood. However, do make sure the saline spray is ample distance and least amount of pressure when spraying onto the grafts. It should be almost a mist just bathing your scalp. With any questions Id always suggest speaking to your surgeon.
How much is a price difference between normal hair transplant and body hair transplant?
body hair vs scalp hair for transplant
Dec 12, 2018
Thank you for your question. The issue between the two options is not typically cost. Ultimately your wish is to look very natural. And in the use of body hair vs your scalp hair, this is no question that the hair on your head will look the most natural as it grows and behaves just as the hair around it does. Body hair has different texture as well as growth cycle. I'd encourage you to discuss your options thoroughly with a surgeon specializing in hair restoration.
Should I get a second opinion on healing and treatment at 1 month post-op?
Wound healing issues after breast surgery
Dec 3, 2018
Hello and thank you for your question. It is true that with a diagnosis of UC, and with the medications that you may be taking to control it, you may have a slower course of healing after surgery. That said, the areas you are concerned with can be difficult to heal for even the average patient. Due to 3 areas coming together at the "T point" this area can often be slow to heal. I would suggest you see your doctor as planned and discuss your concerns. Often...
Can I ask for a refund for my hair transplant if I'm unhappy with my results?
Patient Dissatisifed with hair transplantation
Dec 3, 2018
Hello and thank you for your question. It is difficult to see your results clearly from the photos posted, however I would highly suggest you return to your surgeon to discuss this in person. You may also consider getting a second opinion of your results and possible options as well.

Signficant scabbing/crusting after HT
Dec 3, 2018
You do seem to have quite a bit of scabbing in the region of your transplant. I would highly suggest discussing this with your transplant surgeon. It is normal to have a light amount of scabbing after surgery, however if your implants are packed extremely tight, you may have more than the average amount. I would speak to your surgeon ASAP.
