Since Accutane can affect post operative healing and scarring, most doctors recommend stopping Accutane and waiting for 6 to 12 months prior to undergoing cosmetic surgery, or non-essential elective surgery, such as septoplasty. Nope, you need time to heal. After ten weeks your skin tension may not be done re-balancing yet. And you have a beautiful result for a mini-tummytuck. Discuss it with your primary surgeon. But in general, I ask my patients to what at least six months before considering revisionary surgical treatments. Good luck!

Nasal tip swelling after rhinoplasty is frustrating for both patient and surgeon alike, as its duration and degree can be quite variable. Wait it out . It can take six to twelve months to see a "final results". but studies have documented continued changes up to three years. The bottom line is this: If you are not happy with your outcome twelve months after your rhinoplasty surgery, return and discuss it with your primary surgeon. Good luck.
