Thank you for your question.. Considering the fact that you are still not completely healed on the left breast, it may be best to stay out of any pools/hot tubs to avoid contamination. You do not have to replace your implants unless they are causing you a problem. The FDA estimates the implants to have a 10 year lifespan... however, if you have no issues; do not develop capsular contracture or implant ruptures, there is no reason to change them. It's best to wait at least 3-6 months before considering any revisions. The breasts will continue to change, the implants will settle and the scars will fade. However, you should discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon.Good luck!

Thank you for your question, Based on the photos, you should be ok with a large enough implant that will lift the nipples and fill that skin envelope and not require a mastopexy in addition. I think you are a good candidate for Breast Augmentation with Mastopexy, which is a Breast Lift. What kind of lift will be determined in the office at the time of your exam. You may have circumferential periareola lift or in addition to that you might need a vertical incision as well, depending on how much extra skin you have.

In my practice, the patients after the Breast Augmentation surgery usually go home in a Support bra which is wireless and has an Augmentation band which is preventing the implants from riding up and helping to keep the implants in a good position. You will wear this bra for 1-2 weeks and then it will be changed to a regular wireless bra.

Hello,At 6 weeks post op, it is normal to still have some swelling and firmness. Your implants should soften with time however, the 410 implants are firmer than other silicone gel implants such as the Allergan smooth, round, gel implants. While a detailed history and physical examination can tell your surgeon a lot, the definitive way to diagnose a ruptured breast implant is by obtaining a MRI. Hello,You may still have a breast augmentation even though you have dense breasts. You will still need to follow the same type of mammography, MRI, and ultrasound recommendations that you are currently receiving. Hello,Patients often describe feelings similar to an "electrical shock" or twitch after breast augmentation surgery. This pain is associated with the nerves that were stretched during surgery. As they heal and regenerate, they can create a stinging pain that waxes and wanes. I have heard patients continue to describe this pain for up to 1 year post operatively, like yourself. There is not much that can be done. Be patient and it should resolve. Hope this helps!
