Why are my implants so low? How can I fix them?

Your implants have bottomed out, usually as a result of weight lifting and/or forceful movements of the pectorals (chest) muscles. I have seen it with both large and small implants. Treatment involves internal permanent suture (pocket modification). If the implants are recent, you can keep them. If the are old or you desire to change the size fo profile, they could be replaced. The labia majora are to enlarged. The labia minora are enlarged and can be reduced surgically using local anesthesia =/- oral sedation. In the composite labiaplasy, we frequently also reduce the clitoral hood if desired.
Am I a candidate for a Panniculectomy or thigh lift?

The lower body lift/belt lipectomy would address your abdomen, lower back and lateral thighs. Down time is 2-3 weeks. The inner/anterior thighs would have to be addressed at a later surgery, if desired.
No, it is considered cosmetic, not medically necessary. In order to see a flatter tummy, ore weight loss prior to surgery would be helpful because we don't usually do liposuction of the abdominal skin during this operation.

Dear Leilaan: So sorry to see the results of your previous reduction. A secondary mastopexy could be done but with the following caveats.
You should be totally nicotine/smoke free (even second hand smoke) .
The surgeon would be best served by the having access to the previous operative records (to see which blood supply was left intact) .
You should realize that new size is limited to your own breast tissue volume (B/C ish) if you don't us an implant.

The dual plane placement of breast implants is a good operation in the appropriate patients. We have several patients with great results of this technique that you can see on my website, bodybyleverett.com.
Attempts to unify the muscle or to place the implants entirely underneath muscle do not necessarily create symmetry. Unfortunately, one should be advised that the most common reason for post op asymmetry is pre existing asymmetry and they may likely never be identical.

But from this view, it appears that you have the typical African American nasal presentation that includes a widened bony base, wide ala (nostrils), amorphous tip and thickened skin especially on the tip. You do not have a typical African American (AA) nose. (I do). The typical AA nose presents with a flattened Dorsum, wide base and nostrils (alar), and thickened skin, especially on the tip. Your nose has a prominent hump which will NOT require augmenting. Surgical maneuvers for your nose would address the widened bony structure, the prominent hump, narrowing the nostrils, contouring the tip, and addressing the nasal septum if it it deviated or causing airway obstruction.

Your photos are limited and one cannot see the bottom of your abdomen. But it seems like you have sufficient skin to warrant to to receive a full tummy tuck. Your flanks (love handles) may also be in need of liposuction but once again, the photos do not adequately show the entire midriff. You already have the scar so you may as well have the desired result.

For out of town patients, you should plan to stay in town for ~ 2 weeks.

The reverse abdominoplasty seems to be the option to people who have never seen the result of this operation. The problem is that the skin between the breast cannot be incised/cut without causing a permanent visible scar and the areas underneath the breast folds are tighter than the skin lateral to the breast . If you are wanting to simply have the breast lifted (with no implants) the procedure can be performed as described by many of the surgeons on this blog. But, if you want the breast to look fuller and natural cases in which the patient has pseudootosis (as your photos seem to depict) it can be better performed as a dual plane breast augmentation (with no breast lift scar). GOOD DAY MRS NGALA:You're umbilical hernia can be repaired surgically (if it alone bothers you) or in combination with an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) if you are no longer having kids.  The umbilical repair would only address the outie but the abdominoplasty would allow the surgeon to address both.
