Revisions after any plastic surgery procedure are very common, and in some cases even expected.I too will offer my patients revision in the office under a local anesthetic if at all possible. However, if they are apprehensive about that, or more needs to be done than can done in the office, I would not hesitate to take the patient back to the OR.And yes, the patient would have an extra charge for the facility fee and anesthesia, but I would not charge the patient for the revision….

It is not uncommon to have some breakdowns to the incisions of the breast after large surgeries, especially where the incisions all meet. Most of the time it is just a problem with an internal suture. Patience, and keeping the wounds clean will allow these superficial openings to heal.Stay in touch with your surgeon, and let him check the site every so often, especially if there was an implant placed.
