Thank you for your question. Augmentations in general take time to heal properly. weeks to months.  Hard as it is, try not to evaluate your final outcome during the immediate postopertive period. Certainly, having veins more visible postoperative is common and can regress soon. Alternatively, with the larger implant the skin can become thin; stretch marks and veins may become more prominent. Wow this is a great question.  Plastic surgeons address the abdomen and all its components: Abdomen wall contour, excess skin, muscles, and adipose tissue ( fat) under the skin.  When we perform a tummy tuck we have the opportunity to fix all these elements to give you the contour you desire. Thank you for your question. Interesting. I tell my patients to go braless for 3 weeks after surgery while the internal pocket is formed. As you heal around the implant a lining is formed around the implant.  to help the implant guide in the pocket we do not have patients wear bras for the immediate three weeks after surgery. Then after three weeks bras are allowed on or off. Thank you for your question. When you look at your photo you have some excess skin that can be removed with a tummy tuck.  Moreover, without examining you may have a dialysis of your muscles and may then benefit from a diastasis repair.  Unfortunately, you will not qualify for insurance and the cost of the surgery will vary depending on both your location and the physician performing the procedure.

Thank you for your question. We as plastic surgeons address contours and how you look in the mirror. Normally patients seek us after their weight loss. Many patients have a transient eight gene after a procedure due to fluid retention. This fluid will be slowly removed from your tissues in the following weeks after surgery. All in all we want you to like what you see in the mirror and really don’t measure weight change as a goal. I will you well.

Thank you for the question. When we as plastic surgeons here the term “saggy” breasts we think of a word called ptosis. Your beasts have too much skin and as a result have dropped. We would offer skin removal to elevate the breast and realign the nipple. This is classically a breast lift. This can be done safely after an augmentation though preferably wait 3 months. Thank you for your question.  There are some very rare circumstances, but appropriate, which could result loss of the umbilicus. You can have a new one reconstructed. This is a procedure which can be done under local. Though this may not look the same it can provide some relief. I wish you well.

Pregnancy after tummy tuck will cause changes to your abdomen> your analysis is correct it appears that you need to have your diastasic repaired again.  To do this however will require the same incision. While the repair is performed some excess skin may be trimmed to accommodate the flat abdomen. Please ask other board certified plastic surgeons for the possibilities. I wish you well.

Thank you for your question. Swelling after a facelift is normal the severity relates to the type of facelift and length of the surgery. Sleeping with the head of the bed up 30-45 degrees will help drain much of the swelling after surgery. The swelling peaks in about 4 days and should steadily decrease. I wish you well

Traditionally, breasts are swollen for several weeks after augmentation. Swelling is a natural result of moving tissue.  Drainage from the incision site is normal for a couple of days, but should have stopped at this time. Its best to have your incision checked by your plastic surgeon.  In the meantime keep the area covered and continue to take antibiotics.  I wish you well.
