Statement: I was born in raised in cold Russia and graduated from North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov.
I practiced infectious disease medicine in St.Petersburg, Russia. I moved to the US in 1990 and started my research carrier in Pediatric endocrinology at Cornell University and soon realized I still want to practice Medicine and soon, I graduated from the Pediatric Residency Program of St.Luke’s- Roosevelt Hospital, NY, NY.
Years past, my interests are still evolving around Integrative and Antiaging Medicine, leading to my developing a passion for Aesthetic Medicine. Turns out, I had an eye and hands for it. I started practicing Aesthetic Medicine in 2017, I enjoy it and planning to do it till I see that I can make somebody happy! Thank you for your question!How long ago have you noticed this assymetry?Have you had any dental procedures?If it’s a masseter muscle, neurotoxin will help.If it is in fact asymmetrical fat pad, liposuction might help.If it is an inflammation of buccal mucosa, or blocked salivary gland , needs treatment.Or it is congenital and been there for a long time?It would be the best advice to get a consultation and determine a cause of assymetry, and go for less invasive procedure.All the best!Dr.Liliya
