YES. You can use minoxidil and PRP at the same time. In fact most studies that have shown PRP effectiveness have been done by comparing a combination of treatments that include PRP.

How long ago did you have your transplant? Pain is not harmful to the implanted hair but may be and indicator of something that needs to be addressed. A small portion of patients have post operative pain beyond 3-4 days, but this will resolve eventually. If the pain is incapacitating or not improving you should contact your surgeon

You are doing the right thing by starting early with your treatment to prevent or slow down further loss. Unfortunately there is no treatment to date that will completely stop your hair loss, therefore you may eventually need a hair transplant. When to do the transplant, depends on you and what is you comfort level. SMP will mask some of the hair loss initially but eventually will show or fade away.My recommendation is to find a treatment that works for you to slow down hair loss…

Finasteride is not necessary for a successful transplant result. The goal of any hair-loss treatment such as finasteride, minoxidil, etc. is to stop or decrease ongoing hair-loss. It will not have any effect on transplanted follicles since these are less sensitive to DHT.
