How to not get addicted to filler?
Working with a trusted, reputable provider is key.
Aug 23, 2019
We are our own biggest critics, so it’s easy to get caught up in constantly wanting to improve our appearance or “correct” flaws that might not even be visible to others. The best advice to combat these feelings and walk away with natural-looking results that complement your natural features is to work with a trusted, reputable provider. If your injector simply goes ahead and administers filler after filler without saying a word, your red flag radar should be going off. A reputable provi…
How long does Silhouette thread lift last? I am 49 and have noticeable sagging to my jowls and na
You could be a good candidate for Instalift™.
Aug 22, 2018
Hello. While it does sound like you could be a great candidate for Instalift™, you will be able to get a more detailed and customized opinion during an in-person consult with an experienced cosmetic surgeon. The Instalift works by not only physically lifting facial tissue in targeted trouble areas, but also by stimulating your body’s natural production of collagen. For this reason, you could see results that last for up to two years. That said, this can vary from person to person, so d…
Is it ok to carry computer and a shoulder bag after Botox? 1 day p.o.
Carrying a computer bag should not affect your BOTOX® results.
May 28, 2018
Unless your shoulder bag was somehow pressing on your face in the area treated with BOTOX®, a 25-minute walk carrying a computer bag shouldn’t affect your results. Keep in mind, too, that it can take a few days for the full effects of BOTOX to kick in, so don’t be alarmed if you don’t seem to see your results right away. If you have any specific concerns, get in touch with your provider. Otherwise, it sounds like you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
Silhouette lift vs mini lift?
The InstaLift™ has a much shorter recovery time.
Feb 5, 2018
There are pros and cons to both procedures, but one big benefit of the Silhouette InstaLift is that there’s very little downtime. Remember too that the skill of your cosmetic surgeon is going to be the primary factor in seeing the best possible results for either procedure, so take your time to find an excellent one. Best of luck to you.
Laser resurfacing vs chemical peel: which is better for sun damage?
A combination treatment is often the most effective approach.
Jan 30, 2018
Hello. Thank you for your question. While chemical peels and laser skin resurfacing can both help to address sun-damaged skin, the best choice for you can depend on your individual skin type and concerns. In many cases, a combination approach can achieve maximum results. If you’re concerned about costs, you may want to start with a chemical peel and see if you notice the improvement you were looking for without adding a laser treatment. However, you’ll be able to get more personalized adv…
