If one was to scrape off the pigment of an early melanoma, would it grow back to a visible state?

Treating a melanoma, regardless of early stage or not, is completely different than treating or removing a mole for cosmetic reasons. Melanoma treatment goals is to completely remove the cells, getting “clear margins”, and then following that up with regular check-ups with a board certified dermatologist. Melanoma is cancer, “scraping off the pigmentation” so it isn’t visible is an unwise course of action and can lead to more serious health concerns in the future.
