Hello, I perform nicotine tests on all my former smoking patients. In my practice you need to be nicotine free for 4 weeks before any procedure.
The risk of a serious wound is real. If you were my patient I would tell you that rescheduling is needed. This will save you potential loss of money, time, and an improved cosmetic result. Be honest with your surgeon. It’s a partnership and you need to hold up your end of the partnership.
