Hi there, you definitely could have a breast augmentation without a lift, but I’m not certain you would be happy with your results. I would advise you to have your surgery in 2 steps. First have the breast augmentation then if you are not happy with your results, your breast are not lifted enough with implants alone, you can always have the lift at a later time. Good luck!

It is very common to do both breast and abdomen at the same time. I do suggest you get clearance from your primary care physician because surgery can be lengthy depending on your individual surgeon. good luck with surgery.

Belotero is a great filler for tear troughs,lips and fine lines. The product is much thinner compared to other fillers on the market. For the nasolabial area a thicker product like Radiesse or Juvederm would have better results. You would bebfit from 1 syringe of either of those products. Hope this helped, good luck:)

The free nipple graft technique is essentially a skin graft technique. The grafted nipple/areola relies on the blood supply from the skin on which it is laying. Therefore, it is not uncommon to have partial or incomplete “take” or healing of the grafted tissue. The scabbed area will fall off, but the skin behind will heal in leaving a scar that sometimes resembles an areola. There are options. Be patient. Nothing to do about it at this point.

Both devices are CO2 laser ablation of the vaginal mucosa. I can’t say I’ve used the FemLift, but I do have some experience with FemTouch. My understanding is that the FemLift has more disposable parts.

In my experience with the FemTouch, there is little to no discomfort in the 5 minute procedure. There may be some discomfort with the insertion, but it is similar to a pelvic exam.

I might be late answering this. I hope your issues are resolved by now. From the pictures, it seems like your implant is still way too high and that you have a slight amount of ptosis (droop or slide) of your natural breast. Sometimes, the implant will settle downward into the loose breast skin, but in your case, I suspect the implant was placed under the muscle and the muscle might not be fully released–thereby forcing the implant upward. No question about it. I am a fan of the Ideal Implant. In my opinion, it is a leap forward in the technology of a traditional water filled balloon. The Ideal implant is structurally engineered like a motionless waterbed–limited sloshing, but nice feel. It is certainly “ideal” for those that don’t want silicone. I see no downside when compared to saline.

Yes. Ideal implants have been available for several years. As an early adopter of the structured engineered implant, I have used them for a couple of years now. Very high patient satisfaction. No negative or downside versus traditional saline implant. As a matter of fact, there is no reason to recommend the traditional saline implant.

I’m sorry about the unsatisfactory outcome. I doubt the problem is the implant choice, but rather I suspect the surgery itself. There seem to be many factors gone awry in your surgery. First, the placement of your implant should be corrected (submuscular or subglandular). Second, the lower breast crease needs to be restored. And third, you probably need a lift. All of these factors need to be assessed by a plastic surgeon in person….

If your surgery was uncomplicated and went smoothly, you should be okay to fly within a month.. Generally, surgeons worry about long flight travel for the first 30 days after surgery, not for because of the implants, but patients are at a higher risk for developing dangerous blood clots within the first 30 days after surgery, especially on long sedentary flights. But if you are up walking in the aisles and on a shorter flight, you should be okay. I bet you would be okay to…

First of all, OMG! How tragic and I’m sorry to hear about the passing of your plastic surgeon. Second, regarding your issue, this seems to be loss of some areola skin/tissue from lack of blood supply. Fortunately, the tissues beneath seem to be healing well and the implant appears to be safe. Definitely continue with the treating the open wound with moist dressings. Wash daily and apply some thick ointment. This should heal in time. Hopefully…

In your situation, the two great advantages of Ideal implant are 1) safety profile of the saline versus silicone and 2) the “on table customization” of the volume of saline in the Ideal implant.
