Since your eyebrows appear to be in the correct position, I do not think you would benefit from a brow lift. In your case I believe an upper lid blepharoplasty would do the trick.

You should not do anything yet – give the tissues a chance to heal more and fully recover. Corrective surgery could be performed in the future, or perhaps just injection of some type of filler, such as Juvederm.

In all likelihood the bubbles you are feeling are little air pockets that get into the subcutaneous tissues when the incisions are open. This is nothing to worry about. Your body will reabsorb the air. As far as unevenness – it is too early to determine if anything needs to be done – you need to wait several months at least for swelling to subside and tissues to settle.

It is not too unusual for lumps to occur several months after a tummy tuck. It may be an area of fat necrosis (fat cells that die and liquefy) or it could be a small stitch abscess (superficial infection around a suture). I suggest applying moist warm compresses 3-4 times a day. You should return to your surgeon for evaluation as well…

Seroma after abdominoplasty is not too unusual and typically does not cause any long-term problem. It just needs to be adequately drained. If it recurs after several attempts at needle aspiration, it may be helpful to insert a drain for a few days.

If the muscle does not need to be repaired the surgery is faster, the postoperative discomfort much less and the recovery much quicker. With modern techniques, it may not be necessary to use drains. There are some new tissue adhesives (tissue glues) that can eliminate the need for drains!

Thanks for the photo. Yes – it looks to me like your result is pretty good. I don't think you need to do anything right now except follow your post op instructions and let things heal.

There is still quite a bit of swelling – but I think so far you have a very nice result. You need to wait at least six months before deciding whether you want more lipo. Be patient.

Thank you for your question and the photos. You are correct that prior surgery makes revision more difficult – but I believe the appearance of your nose can be improved. I think the notching of the nostrils is from prior alar base resections. If so, this can be improved by revision with incorporation of a small flap to insure eversion of the incision and reduction of the notching. Yes – that is the so-called “double bubble” deformity that sometimes occurs after breast implant surgery. I do not think it matters whether you had moderate or high profile implants. The problem can be corrected, but will require an additional procedure. Breast pain is fairly common both in women with and without implants. Sometimes it can be very hard to determine the cause. Based on the fact that your pain is positional, it certainly may be related to the implant putting pressure on a sensory nerve. If that is the cause, sometimes relief can be achieved by some form of anti-inflammatory medication, or a drug called Neurontin, or a nerve block; but the first step is to make a diagnosis – so you need to see a physician.

I agree that your nose is attractive and fits your face. No need to have a major change. The flaring nostrils can be corrected with a relatively small procedure known as alar base resection. Some filler (Voluma, Juvederm, etc) to the tip and dorsum might also enhance the appearance of your nose.

Liposuction (the invasive kind) works great. In my experience the other “non invasive” techniques have limited applicability and, if they work at all, work only for small areas of the body. Save up your money and have the right procedure: Liposuction.

The stress of surgery and anesthesia causes release of larges amounts of corticosteroids in your body and that may lead to retention of salt and water. That could cause swelling. I will probably pass quickly.
