As others have said both wedges and trims work but in your case I would likely steer you to trim. With that technique I would bring the incisions up over the clitoral hood to reduce the skin excess there as well. Just remember labiaplasties stay swollen for beyond 3 months so keep the faith!

Drainless abdominoplasty does several things that will benefit your appearance and recovery. You’re correct that it’s a huge convenience factor for patients. Said no one ever, I wish I could have a plastic tube coming out of my body that I could empty, measure, and record it’s output. Hello. Short answer to your question is probably not. You have so much extra skin I would recommend surgery to remove it. As you know, surgery leaves a scar. There are some minimally invasive options such as Body Tite which is radiofrequency applied to the skin after liposuction. I just don’t think you’ll get anywhere near the same result (better with surgery) and suspect a very similar price. Best of luck!

Hello. It sounds like you may have two problems. Certainly on the lower side, your fold has given way. I usually reinforce this with Alloderm, although there is some new mesh on the market which may work well here. The tighter higher side may be capsular contracture, the way you describe it as hard. I try singulair (a pill) here for a few weeks to see if you can see any improvement. If not, I would plan to go back to surgery and remove the current implant…

Hello. Traditional answer would be to use tissue from somewhere else in your body. Most commonly this would be a DIEP flap (skin and fat from the lower abdomen.). This isn’t a light recovery however. If you would be satisfied with small breast mounds, simply doing 1-3 round of fat grafting may be a good option for you. This is outpatient surgery and the recovery is mostly from the liposuction and not the chest. Best to you!

Agree with others to begin with your GYN. Make sure you aren’t on any medications that can cause this because you are young to have this happen–if you’re still nursing that’s the culprit. If that doesn’t help, you could certainly try a nonsurgical device. These are broadly grouped into lasers and radiofrequency (RF) energy devices. Hello. I am sorry to hear this is happening. You could certainly use vaginal estrogen. What I hear from my patients is that it’s messy and has to be used regularly since the effects are not long lasting. Diva is an erbium laser which isn’t penetrating beyond the vaginal mucosa. Hello and thank you. I know you must be frustrated. I think you’re both correct–you and your surgeon. So it may continue to improve with time and massage but it will likely never look perfectly symmetrical to the other side. I wonder if you had/have some fat necrosis in the higher breast. This can happen with breast reduction surgery. No ones breasts are perfectly symmetrical to start with and this probably bothers you more than anyone else–partner, etc…

Hi. In my experience, getting any breast reduction covered by insurance can be frustrating. I recommend calling your insurance carrier and asking for their specific policy around covering breast reductions. You can then begin to collect data to ‘jump through the hoops’ as we say. You have so many great options! I probably wouldn’t favor a 100 cc implant. It’s incredibly small and won’t do much for you. If you are thinking of going that way, I would prefer to just do a lift and leave the implant out of the picture. Given that, you can choose above or below. Hello! What you are talking about is called a horizontal breast reduction. I tried that once and converted it on the table to a more traditional anchor (patient was aware of this possibility!). It’s super flat. It only reduces the breast skin in one direction, avoiding the vertical scar. You’ll be OK. I speak from experience. 😉 You’ll be sore and not wanting to carry a backpack if the straps come anywhere near your breasts. Be sure you don’t drive until your mind is clear (off pain medication) and you can turn the wheel and check you mirrors, etc comfortably. Good luck!
