Biography: Dr. Dua is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician. She graduated magna cum laude from the George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She received her medical degree from the George Washington University as well. She then moved to New York City and completed her internal medicine internship and residency at the Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She initially worked in primary care at a private group practice in Manhattan, NY before moving to Boston, MA. Dr. Dua is a primary care physician at a private group practice in Boston. Her interests are centered on holistic health which includes physical, mental, emotional and aesthetic medicine. She tries to balance eastern and western approaches to medicine and health. She has developed an interest in aesthetic medicine to harness and develop a more creative and artistic side of medicine.

Biography: For a decade, Abby worked in the fast-paced culture of corporate America. She worked directly for CEO’s and sustained grueling, 80-90-hour work weeks. Only after suffering from crippling, ocular migraines and declining health due to lack of sleep, stress, and poor lifestyle choices, she decided that that her health was too important to continue down this path. After leaving her job, she took a year off to focus on her health and well-being. While on this journey, she found VEGA Vitality. Determined to make major changes in her life to be well and stay well, Abby began to practice yoga and meditation, drastically changed her eating habits, and learned the power of a healthy lifestyle. Inspired by VEGA’s founder Ashley Hilmes mission and the drastic improvement in her health, in July of 2017, Abby joined the team at VEGA Vitality. She is ecstatic about VEGA client’s level of interest in maintaining healthy lifestyles in their pursuit of their wellness and aesthetic goals.

Name: Farrah Samadi

Position: Nurse Injector

Biography: Farrah graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in nursing in 2008 from the University of Connecticut. She moved back to Boston where she started her career as a cardiac nurse, working in many hospitals, including Mass General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, and New York Presbyterian Cornell. In 2010, she returned back to school to pursue her Master’s in Adult and Geriatric Nursing. She attended Regis College while simultaneously working as a travel nurse. During this time, she completed a rigorous internship at Boston Medical Center’s BU Dermatology. Farrah graduated in 2013 with a master’s of science as an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She currently works full time at Mass General Hospital as a nurse practitioner and part time as a yoga instructor. Her passion for aesthetics continues to be driven by satisfied clients; she aspires to give her clients natural yet noticeable results.

Biography: Sarah is a board certified nurse practitioner who specializes in cosmetic injectables and a variety of medical esthetic services. Sarah has 8 years of experience working as a registered nurse in both vascular surgery and in the cardiac ICU at Massachusetts General Hospital. She has spent the past year working as a nurse practitioner in the cardiac surgical ICU at Lahey Hospital. When Sarah had her son in 2016 her entire perspective on life changed. She had spent many years working full time while simultaneously going to graduate school and was completely humbled by motherhood. She learned how important both physical and mental health contribute to overall wellness and happiness.

Biography: Chantal specializes in cosmetic injections and skin care. She graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her passion of aesthetic nursing and skincare started while attending nursing school and has followed her throughout her nursing career. She has a background in Plastic Surgery and has worked alongside some of the top plastic surgeons in Boston. This training allowed her to gain first hand aesthetic experience and knowledge about cosmetic injectables. In her free time, Chantal enjoys traveling with her husband, trying new restaurants in Boston, and spending time with her dog, Niko.

Biography: Jenny earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2009. She graduated at the top of her class. Since then, she has been working as a nurse in a cardiac intensive care unit in Boston. Her eye for aesthetics and passion for skincare led her to her role at Vega Vitality as a nurse injector. Jenny’s favorite service offered at Vega is Botox, where she prides herself on skin consultation and strives to achieve results that make her clients feel like a refreshed version of themselves. She also loves to learn and implement the latest in skincare technology and treatments. When she’s not at Vega or at the hospital, you can find Jenny perched up at Row 34, at a Booty by Brabants class, or bopping around with an iced triple espresso enjoying the city.

Biography: Christina earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2015. Since her graduation, she worked in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. While she loved working in the ICU, she always dreamed of pursuing aesthetic nursing. In 2018 she took a leap of faith and became certified in Botox and Dermal Fillers. She then started a year-long intensive apprenticeship under Ashley Hilmes, VEGA Vitality’s founder. Throughout the apprenticeship, Christina has been thoroughly trained in all of VEGA Vitality’s treatment offering. In February 2019, Christina was thrilled to join the knowledgeable and experienced staff at VEGA Vitality. She is looking forward to building a rapport with her patients while providing natural-looking, safe, and goal oriented results.

Biography: Linda has worked in many capacities throughout her career. The common thread in all of her positions is her love for working with people and being part of a team. She has held management jobs in a hair salon and an insurance company. Most recently she worked at one of the most prestigious hospitals in the country, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH.) During her ten years at MGH, she worked as the Overnight Unit Coordinator for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Craving a more normal daily schedule, Linda decided to join VEGA Vitality in November 2018. She is thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful team, and she loves connecting with all the patients at VEGA Vitality. Linda enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends, family and dog, Zoe.
